As a wife and stay at home Mom “things” can be extremely overwhelming. We are the keepers of everyone’s “things”. Small things become big messes and then the overwhelming feeling poors over us.⬅️ And this is what I want to avoid.

I have learned through the years that small things add up to be either relieving or overwhelming. Letting small things add up overtime can become overwhelming. And on the other side of this, doing small things using small minutes can add up to a sense of peace and more minutes.

I started a while ago note-taking my day and really looking more into daily habits that were creating the overwhelming feelings. Sometimes we just have to write things down. After that I was creating goals to be met for either 7 days or 21. It takes 21 days to break bad habits I have been told.

Again I’m not looking for perfection. You will not walk into my home and be like “Wow so clean”! But I do have peace when I am in it and so does my husband and that’s the goal!

This blog is more than just organizing and cleaning. It’s about the heart, the feelings, and mental state of being home!

Peace is so precious. I look forward to what you have to share. As a mother, I feel this in my bones!

Ashley for realz! And I feel like the world is trying to meet this squeaky clean goal and missing out on the peace! Be patient with me as this is Holy Spirit lead. I will be trying to post daily. This weekend is busy so we shall see!
